(Day 3) Alternate Competition Day:

In the event of unforseen interruptions on the scheduled event day: Sunday, August 26 is reserved as an alternate competition date. All events and procedures from Day 2 that were not able to take place will now take place on Day 3. Safety is the over-riding concern and if excessive conditions warrant, the event can/may be temporarily postponed or halted pending weather or incident related delays. All competitors should plan to remain the entire weekend (Friday through Sunday) in event of delays or unforseen interruptions.

Competitor Notifications & Requirements:

Note:  The Military enforces a Zero Tolerance Policy with respect to Drugs and Alcohol:

All competitors will undergo a breathalyzer test first thing Friday morning and first thing Saturday morning.
If you fail, you will not be participating in any of events and you will be disqualified. No Exceptions.

The Military Police and the event organizers take a zero tolerance approach with respect to alcohol and or prohibited drugs. Any competitors found to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs will be dealt with by the Military Police. Under Canada's laws, possessing alcohol or consuming alcohol on Federal Property is punishable by law. Furthermore, if a competitor is found to be under the influence at any time during the event, they will be disqualified from the event and will not be entitled to any refund of registration fees.

Licensing:

All competitors must possess a valid class 5 or 6 operator's license in Canada or a valid driver's license from another country. Minimum age for any competitor is 16 years old. We do not require a specific competition license, but we encourage you to consider the risks involved in this type of event.

Abuse:

There is a zero tolerance policy for abuse of any kind. No physical or verbal abuse of event staff, officials, competitors or spectators will be tolerated at any time. Any incident of abuse will be reported directly to the Military Police who have complete jurisdiction during the event.

Competition Novices:

If you are not experienced in high speed competition, you will be required to attend a special session with our event instructors on Practise Day (Day 1). We will have a record of your entry forms and will have a list of novice drivers that will be provided to our instructors. They will call on you for a special session of instruction during Day 1. This is Mandatory, No Exceptions.

Rules of Competition:

All competitors must abide by the rules of competition as indicated. Any competitor found in violation of the posted rules may be immediately disqualified or sanctioned as deemd appropriate by the Event Director. If you are unsure of any aspect of the competition rules, ask an Event Marshal for clarification and further direction.

Passengers:

During practise/orientation an instructor may, at any time, ride along as a passenger. During the actual events, passengers will not be allowed in a competition vehicle at any time. The only exception to this rule is if requested by an instructor. An instructor is the only passenger that may ride along on a competitive pass. Passengers may ride in competitor cars as part of the Dream Ride Auction after the Auction and during transit of competitor cars to and from the event grounds. No Exceptions.

Event Marshals:

Each Event Marshal has the power and discretion to pull any competitor aside for further guidance by an instructor. They may also temporarily remove you from competition to meet with an instructor at your or an instructor's request. You must obey any/all instructions from an/all official Event Marshals. No Exceptions.

Fuelling:

Refuelling is permitted from approved containers in the main competitor pit area only. If you need to leave the grounds during the event for refuelling, you must notify the Competitions Director directly by speaking with any official with a radio. Upon return, you will need to have your tires re-inspected and approved for competition. We encourage all competitors to arrive with a full tank of fuel and/or extra fuel jugs if you deem necessary. A gas station is located on the military base but it will be an inconvenience for you due to the volume of people at the event.
